Techtextil – the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens took place May 14-17, 2019 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. On the occasion of Techtextil 2019 IHOFMANN was organizing an international media conference for INDORAMA Ventures/Wellmann International to launch the new brand DEJA™.

During the media conference, Edmund Ingle, CEO Wellman International Ltd., gave an outline on the INDORAMA Ventures company’s strategy in the major business fields and its commitment to deliver responsible and sustainable growth. He also explained how the truly sustainable fibre brand DEJA™ will contribute to reduce waste globally and keep planet and oceans cleaner.
The interest from the international media audience and relevant stakeholders from industry and associations was overwhelming. Around 40 participants from 18 countries attended the press conference on May 15 and showed great interest in the topic of rPET and the new brand DEJA™. DEJA™ with the subtle connotation to the French„déjà vu“, refers to the long experience of Wellman as a pioneer of recycling technologies.
