Dr. Isa Hofmann gave the opening keynote on the occasion of SALTEX in Dornbirn, Austria October 5 2016. The title: “Smart and connected – a vision of the future: How digital innovations will change our live”. New business models sprout up like mushrooms on greenfield sites, the rules of the game are changing very fast. In the new Smart Service Welt 2025 the focus is on the user (acatech-study).

The lecture of Dr. Isa Hofmann was geared to get the audience in the right mood for the topic digitalization and big data and showed examples from different industries: robotics, smart cities/smart home and textile surfaces (among others active sports and self-optimization).

Digitalization constitutes a paradigm shift that affects not only our daily life, but also any kind of business model. Nothing will stay the way it is!
