Ever since my student days in Bonn and Paris, I have been active as a journalist, member of the German Association of Journalists (DJV). Following my PhD graduation at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Bonn, I went on with a professional training program, first writing as a freelance reporter for a local daily newspaper and then undergoing an internship with German television (ZDF) in Mainz.
As a contributing editor to the renowned JEC COMPOSITE MAGAZINE of the JEC Group based in Paris, I have been writing regular reportages since 2017. The magazine geared to nearly 50,000 composites professionals worldwide, is published 8 times a year. The reports focus on current trends and company portraits from the various industries where composites are used – among others automotive, aviation and aerospace, sustainable energies, wind power and architecture, medicine and sports.
